housekeeping! here to fluff your peeellows!

i got a job!! i woke up this morning to meet with our project director, Earl Chute, and the manager of our hotel. the manager and the chief housekeeper, Rhonda, hired me on the spot as a maid! i ran back upstairs to put on my sneaks and change my shirt before i reported back for my first day of work. six hours later...my first day of cleaning rooms is over! today i got to shadow and work alongside my favorite housekeeper, Karen. this is going to be a great job; it doesn't get any more convenient as far as location, its a great way to serve people, and i can totally see myself ministering to the other ladies who work in housekeeping. praise God for holding on to this opportunity for me and for teaching me about His faithfulness in the waiting process. i really have grown a lot in this whole job hunt; it has been trying and discouraging at times but also very humbling.thank you so much for your prayers throughout this process. you can keep praying for me as i learn the ropes and build relationships with my coworkers. i am so glad to finally be a working woman...i feel like my summer is really underway now!
